ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Soilroot is an American rock band consisting of 4 guys from the Pacific Northwest; Shane Mitrov - vocals, Jason Whipple - Bass, Mike Campbell - Drums and Erik Olïn - Guitars, who just wanted to get together and play music that they wanted to hear. Not trying to be "Rock Stars", the guys in Soilroot have no delusions of grandeur, they write and play music together simply because they enjoy doing it. A desire to create they're own unique brand of music is their only real driver. A rock band by definition, Soilroot also incorporates a mix of progressive metal and some funk and jazz with a very heavy Blues influence in their music which some say gives them a slightly "old-school" feel. Soilroot's songs tend to be diverse and dynamic, riff-oriented songs with an array of time changes. "If a song does not feel interesting to us then we're just not interested in playing it." -Soilroot
