I heard these guys back in the mid 80's and loved this album. The cassette I had of this album isn't good anymore. While the pace of the songs are anthemic, they are also too slow in pace at times, making you wish that Sojourn would speed things up. That said, the driving rhythms and guitar and keyboard work definitely give you the desire to bang your head at times. The additional songs from the early years aren't as good on the whole, thus attesting to Sojourn's musical growth when this album was released. Now, I'm looking for more. Where is the second album?
