Dark, pulsing and uplifting describes Solace's 5th CD, which fuses classical Indian vocals and tabla with heavy rhythmic club/dance elements. Part 1 of a 3 part series takes us into the depths of our conscience, while twisting through rhythmic Indian modes and melodies atop an exquisite layer of loops and
arrangements with a hint of electronica.
Satya was influenced by the music of DJ Cheb i Sabah, especially the track "Ganga Dev" from Shri Durga. Although nothing like Shri Durga, Solace is able to capture the subtleties and textures that compliment the art of fusing Classical Indian and Trance.
