Album Notes

"The Love of the Beloved" is the new Rumi Album with declamation of Bahman Solati and musicianship of Arash Fayyazi. This album entails seven tracks chosen from the collection of Shams “Divan-e Shams”, which present spiritual love poems.

This is the sixth album recorded by Bahman Solati, but "The love of the Beloved" is somewhat different than his previous albums. The back ground music is original and classical Persian music played by Arash Fayyazi.

The instruments used in this album are as follows:

Tar, setar, oud, divan, daf, dayereh. All these instruments have been played by Arash Fayyazi, his talent and passion for Persian music have given this album the spirit that the poems of Rumi truly deserve.
