Album Notes

John Mason and Gary Rzab began jamming together in a cover band, and upon developing a chemistry, decided to see what they could find on their own. Much of the music they create stems from improvisation, frequently just letting tape roll and forgetting about it. The struggle between form and chaos has been an ongoing thing, and this CD represents so many lives that have been affected by this same struggle, though in many different formats.

John Mason is the Guitarmageddon 2002 National Champion. He is an accomplished classical guitarist, as well as an avante-guarde improv lover. Look out for upcoming releases, The Duets with Steve Marchena, and later this year, The Back Bay Guitar Trio, John Mason Solo, and the next phase of the Solo Mission.
