Album Notes

Solomon has been called the best guitarist in Israel. (He is also known as Shlomo Mizrahi.) He has been playing guitar since he was 13. He is completely self-taught. His influences include The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and The Rolling Stones. He has performed all over the world with American blues legend Memphis Slim, and played with Arthur Brown on "Fire". He has composed music for many theatre & dance performances, as well as several films, including six films on Israeli television, and films on British TV and American TV. Solomon's music is best described as Funky Rock with ethnic elements. He performs with his band, and has produced many artists. He has released two solo albums.

Hendrix??

While Solomon is a very talented guitarist, this disc really has no similarities to Hendrix. There are only 2 songs that are of a rock example/feel. The majority of the songs have a strong Middle Eastern flavor while laid upon a bed of basic rhythms.
