Sonal Anu, pronounced 'Soan-all Ah-new', was founded upon the friendship, common world-view, and wildly bent sense of humor of bassist Brent-Anthony Johnson (BAJ) and multi-instrumentalist Chris Ball. Sleep Drum is an eclectic mix of straight ahead jazz, funk, pop, world beat and even folk music influences.
