At 16, when most aspiring artists are only just beginning their journey, native Bostonian SONCHILD is already something of a veteran. His music career started at the tender age of 11 with a single entitled "Merry-Go-Round" that not only launched him into the world of dance music but onto the club charts— peaking at #3 on the UK Club Charts and holding the position for 7 consecutive weeks. He performed in several east coast venues, including 2002’s Party 93.1 FM Summer Jam in Miami . Not bad for a fifth-grader.


2007 welcomes SONCHILD back to the stage with his first full length album "DREAM INTO ACTION". A suitable title for a young man already proving himself a creative force to be reckoned with. Including both covers and originals “I Go Where I Go” (featuring Dan-E) and “Homework”—which has already conquered the Hot96.net Top Ten—its style goes beyond dance to include funky R&B grooves and radio-pounding Pop. Like the quake that was “Merry Go Round”, this bass-shaking tremor is likely to be felt around the world.
