From the coalescence of Sonic Zen Records and Bay Vibes, the Songwriters Unplugged series at Yoshi's SF was born in July of 2009.

Through almost two years and hundreds of songwriters taking the stage, it has been a real gift to see the community that has flourished around this weekly ritual. The talent is seemingly endless, as we continue to meet more amazing creators every day. We revel in bringing performers and fans together in new combinations, forging lasting relationships and spreading the love.

This album, recorded live from the San Francisco Yoshi's main stage on March 8, June 29 and October 14 of 2010, represents a culmination of this work, as well as a first step in what will hopefully be a long line of Songwriters Unplugged volumes. Enjoy!
