I want to "Ride This Ride"
author: Dede
By far SONiA's most mature release with its wood and strings sound that resonates behind almost each song . . . sugarcane transports into an elderly woman's Bronx apartment and I go with her all the way to Ground Zero to witness a generous gesture. won't let go has the same impact, only through the lyrics of this song I am watching her father teach her how to ride a bike. SONiA's ability to turn headlines into songs is evident with Rio's Home . . . such a wonderful, complete release.

Another Great CD from SONiA
author: PsyberDave
I have all of SONiAs music. Every one of her albums touches me. No Bomb Is Smart is no exception. I agree with other reviewers that note that this is her most lavishly arranged recording. It sounds full and well-supported, as I think her music deserves to be. Her lyrical and musical talent really shine through to me on this CD. The ethereal instrumentation on the first track (a song by Phil Ochs) is the first clue that a lot of production went into this. Now, Phil Ochs is great and all, but Sonia really has my heart. When I heard the second track, Sugarcane, a smile came to my face, and I thought, "That's my Sonia!". Man, I love her music.
