This album was recorded at Max Daniel's Saloon, just a short ride from the Edison Museum.
Sadly, Max's is now a part of history, like Edison and his inventions. I felt this recording was
necessary, despite some of it's sonic imperfections for two really good reasons... First and
foremost, we had never done a complete album with Alan Camlet on the drums and to be
very honest, he was particularly HOT that night! Alan is not just a "rhythm keeper"... He
is as much a creative influence and (in a way) soloist as any Blues player I know.
Secondly, I always wanted to do a live recording of the songs that the audience has yelled
requests for for years and years... and most of them are on this release. I hope you enjoy
listening to it as much as we enjoyed playing it....!
