Sonnie Day "The Ministry; not The Music"

Captivating, enchanting, and inimitable is the voice of Sonnie Day. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan known as the Gospel Music capital; undoubtedly another tremendous gospel voice surfaces. Singing in her first talent show at .the age of four, Sonnie has always had an interest in music, ministering throughout her childhood years singing in school, concerts, and choirs.

She is known throughout the gospel music industry for working with and promoting many of gospel's greats, such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Vickie Winans, Kurt Carr, Michelle Williams, Karen Clark-Sheard, and many more. Her first recording was on the "Detroit Sings Nu Hymns" under the direction of high-school classmate and Grammy nominee Deitrick Haddon.

God has destined Sonnie Day to reach those forgotten unsaved souls through a music genre she calls "U3": Undefined, Uncategorized, yet Universal inspirational music. Audiences can prepare their hearts to be blessed and their days to be brightened through the passionate unique sound of Sonnie Day.
