Album Notes

The long awaited debut album no one left to lie to from Son of Clyde! Is it rock? Is it pop? Is it dance? Is it retro? Who really cares when it is this good. Swirling synths and digital effects with distorted guitars and vocal angst! Catchy hooks and personal lyrics take you deep in the mind of Jeff Smith---the one man driving force that is Son of Clyde! Check out the website http://www.sonofclyde.com for more information about the man behind the music.

The Las Vegas music scene is about to endure a one of a kind. It is impossible to peg SoC's music into any one category. Hints of Trent Reznor and New Order seep into the infectious grooves. However, this much more personal. Radio and dance clubs alike will take to the aggressive pop songs that no one left to lie to so effortlessly displays. Check out Believe or Jonah for SoC's classic sound that has infiltrated college radio and may soon find it's way to a top 40 station near you. This is a complete debut with 72 minutes and 15 songs worth of material.

It has been a long time since a newcomer has demonstrated such remarkable songwriting ability from start to finish! Take your time and sample each of the cuts that made the record. We are sure that you will want to add this gem to your collection.

This CD is a must-have in your colection. You can find a song to suit about every mood you have on a daily basis. The synth on some tracks resembles old-school Depeche Mode and riffs are very catchy! It only takes one listen to be hooked. Other tracks can be viewed as angry and/or agressive and resemble Stabbing Westward to me, which in my book is GREAT! Overall, the sound heard here is indeed unique and will most definitely catch on soon- don't be left behind- get your CD now so you can say you were listening to SOC way back when...

This album brings me back, back to an era (the 80's) where alt/music was at its very best! All the songs on this disc are great but there are a couple that stand out; such as ESKIMO SURFING and the very, very sobering DRAG!! Son of Clyde done good, damn good!!
