the sons of favor was organized in 2005 by rev. howard e. richardson jr.
this group in a short period of time has went through many trials and
tribulations, but through the almighty god the sons of favor prevailed.
the groups mission is to go out and spread the gospel in song under the leadership of the holy ghost. to minister to those who are lost, to see the captives being set free and seeing broken hearts mended. the sons of favor
as a group, are standing on the promises of luke 2:52 were it reads “ and jesus
increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with god and man “
many of the group members have been in other quartet groups,
such as the daytonians out of dayton ohio and the christian souls. but god has shifted these brothers in a different direction. many of the members of the group have performed on the same ticket such as the gospel keynotes , rev. andrew chears and the songbirds, the pilgram jubilees and the mighty clouds of joy. the group members consist of ron mckinley

patrick mack ( rhythum guitar player),
walter (bass player ) tyrone aka rone (drummer ) , lil mack ( keyboard player ) and howard richardson ( lead singer ).
