Album Notes

Quota and ExQuisite, the creators of So Phi Productions,Inc. are moving the state of Alabama to the top. The duo has an eccentric and innovative, yet undeniably catchy, style that is said to be exactly what Hip Hop needs to defy the current trend. Their album, “Live & Direct” is to be release this summer in August 2007. So Phi’s explosive tracks are produced by ExQuisite who was introduced to music during his early childhood. He began playing instruments around age 7 and he was composing beats starting at the 12. His passion for blues, soul, and jazz music is reflected through the melodies, tones, and dynamics of the beats he creates. His undeniable talent involving many aspects of music, along with his tenacious mind set, places this young producer well above others. Quota became involved with music at the age of twelve. His motivating lyrics and “flame-throwing” style puts him among the few elite MC’s to ever touch Alabama soil. His talent as a rapper became recognizable as he began rapping around 15-years-old, complimenting ExQuisite’s electrifying beats. Quota and ExQuisite superior approach has shocked many critics and listeners and is building a rapidly growing fan base across the southern states, accompanied by endless positive feedback. Fans from across the area are establishing an impressive reputation for So Phi as the recognition of the name and music grows. With their popularity growing from demos, internet promotions, street promotions, and club plays, radio exposure is inevitably soon to follow. The independent rappers are making a name for themselves and creating a path to success in the rap game with their creativity, charisma, and ability to make a statement. “The new beginning is here, and it will not be stopped by any means.”
