Sophia, who calls her self Songhealer, has been performing and writing music since the 60s. In 1978 she released her first album, Roots & Wings, and since then she has produced nine others. She draws from eclectic sources including East Indian, Native American, Hebrew and Islamic, among others, weaving sacred chants into a world wide web of uplifting and enchanting sound. She has recorded with many illustrious musicians, including Raphael (Music to Disappear In), Hans Christian (Rasa), Jai Uttal, Bhagavan Das.

A "cult" favorite among healers, massage therapists, tantric yogis and other loyal listeners these many years, Sophia has now ventured into cyberspace to reach out to YOU!
