This is the first LP released by Sound of Reverse on Gulliver Records (their own label) with a total of 11 songs. It includes 7 songs previously recorded in 1999 and 4 recorded in 2000.
Hailing out of Pennsylvania, the band has been together since 1997 as a four piece. They use forceful drums and sonic guitars to generate a sound all their own. Delay, phaser, harmonics, waw, and other effects make for an interesting and almost mezmorizing sound while insane drums and bass thud throughout. They don't like to make things to easy; off time changes are welcome with this band. Check it out for yourself.

noisey, creative, but not without melody!

this is a very solid lp, the sense of melody holds everything together, i suggest you buy this if you enjoy sonic youth/polvo-esque noise, coupled with melodic song writing which transforms this into just a damn good rock album. i wish more bands like this existed!

Not Bad! Anyone trying to defy the rules of rock always get kudos in my book. I would best describe this record as textured, sonic and dissonent, but not pretentious, like many of the other bands in this genre. Kinda sounds like an even mixture of Swervdriver, early Catherine Wheel, Sonic Youth and Polvo. The only downfall about this recording is the production is little to be desired, as it sounds like they recorded this disc through a wall of pillows.

Very good work. It could be a little more produced but all
in all it is the best i have heard from any local band in
a really long time.
