Album Notes

Sorry is 3 guys from Seattle that thrive on indie-pop. We love The Posies, Dolour, The Pale Pacific, Super Deluxe, Minus The Bear, Death Cab, Decemberists, Derby, Long Winters, New Pornographers, and walking in the rain holding hands. Preferably not with each other, though. Think indie-pop nice enough to take home to mom, but hip enough to pair well with your Chuck Taylors.

Yes, there’s plenty of verse-chorus-verse-chorus, but we also threw in bridges, intros, alternate choruses, solos, and modified bridges -- in short, we've spared no expense to bring you this fine record. We even tossed in a little honest-to-goodness cowbell on Tongue Tied. Why? Because we like you.

So give the tracks a listen, maybe even order up a CD. We hope you will. Most of all, we hope that you will be hand clapping along to our songs very soon. After all, we wrote each one for you.

Thanks for listening. You are our favorite person in the whole world.

Avoiding the sophmore slump like champs...

OK well... is it technically a sophmore effort when you've moved from an ep to a full length? I have no idea and it is not my place to ponder. BUT i will say the second effort put forth by Sorry is a winner indeed. Great songs, great feel. I"m very impressed. Standout tracks for me are Wedding Guest, Why Advertising Works, and Cadence. But really they're all great.
