ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The third SOTW album : Official release November 3rd 2001 Produced by Seasons Of The Wolf. Two years in the making SOTW crafts a new album that combines the best influences from 3 decades of Heavy Metal. The album starts with the power house anthem "New Age Revolution". From beginning to end SOTW takes you on a roller-coaster ride of truths, pains, and sparks of hope. Dark atmospheric keyboards, Powerful slicing guitar riffs, Pounding drums, Thundering bass, and vocals that stand out with very recognizable sonic pitch going from high to low.
During the first couple months of release the album was #3 in the top most requested albums at Snake Net Metal Radio. Once again SOTW takes you on the journey into their underground. Five Songs from this album were also used in horror/SCI-FI films titled "The Alien Conspiracy", "The Van", and "Underbelly".

FRANCESCO DEMARCHI

For Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult fans
The third release of the band from Bradenton offers better production, shorter songs, an even stronger keyboard presence and more technically to their riffs than "Lost in Hell", but remains the same mid-tempo or 80's power doom.
"New Age Revolution" displays a birt better songwriting as well as some near-progressive keyboard soloing and guitar riffs typically seventies. "Dead Zone" is a fast and strong track in the vein of old Metal Church. "Nocturnal Revelation" is a typical gothic power doom track. For me the best song is "Storm of the Century" with a 70's refrain broken by an accentric keyboard.
After all SOTW confirm their strange style: a mix of Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult and Metal Church.
