Ask songwriter, performing (vocals, piano, guitar, harmonica) and recording artist Cory Morgenstern and he'll tell you Soular System "Big Bang", took half his life to produce. Morgenstern's journey as an artist ran counter to his family's wishes ("You want to be a what?!"), and eventually clashed with the music industry's culture and values. The New York Times featured him as a working musician and quoted him, "Engagements build up steadily over the months . . . things get frenetic, people go crazy".
His determined journey of faith culminates in a CD of thick musical and vocal textures, where there is lots going on, including keyboards, acoustic and electric guitars, soaring lead guitars, heavenly choirs (all played and sung by Morgenstern), the soulful and dynamic Lily White on saxophones, and out of this world special effects, hinting at Morgenstern's Sci Fi influences. Soular System was produced by Cory Morgenstern and Glenn Swan, mixed by Acar Key at Unique Recording Studios, New York and mastered by Vlado Meller at Sony Mastering Studios.
"My greatest hope," says Morgenstern, "is that people will connect with this music, that other artists will adopt my songs and add their interpretations. That's the big bang for me!" Morgenstern's future plans include a band that delights the eyes with lights and costumes as well as the ears with his music and a line of merchandizing products to match.

The cd was very lush.I can't get the songs out of my head. Nice artwork! (A little chicken soup could clear up that nasal thing the singer's got.)! Great guitar playing. What harmonies! I was plotzing! Really!

People out there will connect with Soular System. The CD blends harmony , vocal textures and lyrical content sorely missing from today's music!

Superb...excellent performances...good enough for commercial radio play.

Superb. Bravo on the exellent performances and the completely professional recording quality...the track [Spinnin' My Wheels] is also certainly good enough in sonic terms for commercial radio play...the singing is quite impressive.
