The making of this album, “Return to Kali”

Finally, we arrived at the completion of this project we call Return to Kali. In the Hindi culture, the goddess Kali represents time and change. We are of different cultures, colors, and traditions, but we have one thing in common: Feelings that are forever changing. Whether or not you are celebrating life, starting a journey, experiencing loneliness, or getting lost in the moment, this music will illuminate your path.

We would like to thank Christian Escobar for making our recording studio a reality, and to my wife, Diane, and son, Brandon, for their patience and support. A special thanks goes out to Justin Kaufman, for his constructive feedback throughout the production of this album. One more special thanks to Orlando Caicedo, for the live conga drums in “Lost in Your Garden.”

I have to thank my father and mother, Erwin and Esperanza, who sparked my passion for music and life. They gave me the opportunity to travel the globe, and discover diverse and exotic cultures.
