"Voluble" features remixes of songs from "Evolve" (the debut album from Soul Circuit, which can be found at www.cdbaby.com/soulcircuit). It also contains a new darkwave/electronic instrumental track entitled "Sweep", and as a special tribute to Tori Amos, the Soul Circuit cover of "Precious Things".
Remixers on "Voluble" include Z Prochek (Sweden), Tecnoman SF (Argentina), Chiasm (U.S.), RE:Course (U.S.), Liar's Rosebush (Canada), Iszoloscope (Canada), Manus Machina (U.S.), Inelex (U.S.), Yendri (Germany), E? (U.S.), and The God Project (U.S.).
A truly diverse mixture of styles are featured on this album, and no two songs sound the same. From Yendri's spacey synthpop remix of "At Me" (which sounds almost like the Pet Shop Boys), to Iszoloscope's psycho-industrial remix of "Loathe" (if a Terminator movie was 100 times more violent, this could be on the soundtrack), this disc will provide musical styles for any mood, as well as a fair share of great dance-floor hits.

i first bought the cd because of the "precious things" cover, but i now love each song on this cd - it's such a broad range of sounds from song to song...each catching you from the first few seconds. i'm so glad i picked this up.

I think each remixer has a unique contribution to the over all enjoyable and beautiful sound found on Voluble start to finish. I could definitely imagine a lot of this being played in clubs. The Tori Amos cover song is absolutely amazing, as any work I have heard from Soul Circuit continues to be, in my opinion. Definitely worth checking out!
