Album Notes

This album project has been a lot of hard work but a very rewarding experience. Soul Purpose Choir have been performing together as a group since 2010, but the idea for an album only (realistically) came together mid-way through 2011. We had talked about recording before, and people would ask if we had plans to, but the project just seemed too big to organise. But, as often happens, once we put our mind to work, it all came together. This project really has been a group effort with everyone playing their part to make it happen - from the singers to the muso’s to the engineers. After a lot of long rehearsals, late nights arranging new songs, learning new parts or editing the mix, this is our finished product and it is something we are all really proud of. Thanks to Daniel who helped get this project off the ground, the sound techs Scott and Tony who got it onto a disc and to Sonia for her album artwork. But mostly thanks to the Lord - without whom we would have nothing to sing about.
