Following in the footsteps of their fathers (The Soul Revivers), six young boys (all first cousins) began singing 37 years ago as "The Sons of The Soul Revivers". They started out singing in churches and soon were singing with some of the major quartet singers in the country, including The Canton Spirituals, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, and The Jackson Southernaires. "Golden Nuggets" is a special collection of songs by The Sons now being released in 2008 nationally. Quartet lovers will appreciate this CD which reflects the Son's signature style of family harmony and presents a very powerful message about Jesus Christ, the Cross, and Heaven. Along with "Help Me Lift His Holy Name" , "I'm A New Creature", and "Live In Fairfield:Joy","Golden Nuggets" should be included in every Gospel Quartet lover's music collection.
