Austin Texas based Soul Rock, 70's arena rock influence , guitar driven sound, vocally pronounced and lyrically directional. Blues Rock .

Soulshaker is :

Mark Campbell , Guitars , Vocals .
Was once told by Steve Marriott : " You sing just like me , but this time with a bit more Rodgers in your voice ".
Guitar styling along the lines of the Classic British bluesrockers .

Mark Salmon , Drums . The first time that guitarist MC heard him play , he was exactly a cross between Ian Paice and John Bonham . Now he sounds just like this band's drummer ;
simmered like good gumbo .


Mike Rieman , Bass . Pro chops , authentic soul lines and fluid bouncing fifths , not to mention this man can walk the neck in any style .

Tabber Millard (of Dreamtrybe ) Coy Fuller , Mike Rieman and Joel Duhon sat in on Drums and our drummer, our drummer appreciates it, because they brought a different feel that he recognizes creatively to five of the songs . Both are top notch , standing-out in their field .


Recorded at Eagle Audio, Austin by Ginger Doss ( of Dreamtrybe) .She sings on several tracks and plays some tasty keyboards on it too .

Song Descriptions :
1. The CD blasts into an energetically modern , fresh start ,a little 'Purple' in their blood,evidently .This one's about the Celestial Travellers , Semjaza and his group , who left their mark on the early planet Earth.
2. A super heavy blues reminiscent of Free and Mountain ,rocking commentary on war , what's it good for ?
3. A funky bass driven number that's about the number one primitive superstition worldwide ... the boogie man and other children's stories.
4.A tribute to the Plejarens and their beamships , featuring
actual recorded sounds mixed into the music , and a "Beamship solo" . McCartney vocal style w/ Bad Company style backing track.
5. A Tribute to some classic artists , and the number two favorite pastime worldwide ; listening to music on rainy nights. Soul/Rythmn and Blues styled . Reminiscent of Motown .It has the most wide and versatile appeal on the disc .
6. This one's dedicated to the dancers.
7.A power love ballad ,"en serpens albans" inspired.
8.A shuffled power rocker dedicated to beauty .
9.Modern southern rock and roll soul , the definitive Soulshaker signature, if there is one . Boogie bass fans love it .
10. The album closer , our moodly tribute to Peace itself , in E minor . Featuring the Salome Peace Meditation , which actually happens to be real , important , credible , functional and effective. The most important song we have ever had the honor of being a part of ." ...an ancient Lyrian phrase".

Theme note : Featuring a song which includes the actual sound of a Plejaren Beamship ( Singing Ships), and two others
(Salome Sunrises) and the title track , which were inspired by the extraordinary and real E.T. experiences of Swiss native , Billy Meier .
