Almost every summertime coastal destination has a street named Ocean Drive. Soul Steppin' is a kind of dance and music particular to many different Ocean Drives. In Chicago, it's called Steppin', in Baltimore, MD. - The Bop, in the U.K. - Northern & Modern Soul, in parts of Texas - The Houston Whip, and on Ocean Drive in North Myrtle Beach, SC - the dance is the Shag and the music is called Beach Music!
