Phil Driver’s Soul Unsigned show on Solar Radio focuses on unsigned and independent soul, funk and jazz artists.

The Soul Unsigned Record label has been set up to release compilation EPs and LPs of some of the best tracks featured on the show.

EP:001 is the first release, and has already featured in Solar’s own “Sweet Rhythms” chart, as well as getting on to the playlists of Solar’s sponsors Soul Brother Records and Soulchoonz

Tracks from the EP have featured on shows outside of Solar. “Leave it all behind” by Felix has had airplay on Greg Clifford’s show on Starpoint Radio and on Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul show on BBC 6Music, while “Blow your mind” by Groove Back Productions has picked up good airplay on Soul Connexion.
