Volume 2 essentially picks up where its predecessor left off. Once again, Soul Unsigned has selected 14 quality tracks from unsigned and independent artists that deserve more attention than they’ve been getting so far.

As a UK-based label, we’re keen to promote home-grown talent as much as possible, so this compilation features London-based acts J-Funk, Frank Felix & The F.U. Express, Kevin East and GLO. Representing the Midlands we have Muthafunk, while Liverpool-based Judderbass complete the roster of UK artists.

The USA is also well represented again this time around, with Destruments, Calumet, Maxi and Sean Miranda.

As with Volume 1, we also wanted to include some artists from outside the well-trodden UK and USA territories, so we were very happy to be able to involve artists like Varius Funkus (France), Venueconnection (Spain), Unkle Funkle (Norway) and Nash Reed (South Africa).

All of the tracks on this CD have featured heavily on our radio show. Since the release of Volume 1, the weekly “syndicated” show has extended to three major European FM stations, including Kiss FM in Sweden.
