SoulVibe's sound blends the chaos and colors of electronic music with the soul of acoustic instruments. Some call it funky hip-hop infused ambient groove acid jazz laced with blues and new age techno. Mixing melodic piano and synth lines with break beats and hand drums, Josh Colton, the sole member of the band, weaves a tapestry of sounds laced with analog waveforms as well acoustic instruments including harmonica, recorder, and trumpet. The result is unlike anything you've heard, but instantly definable once you have. Pulling from a wide range of influences, SoulVibe's music is what would happen if Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel were morphed together and jamed with Moby and a symphony orchestra.
