Soul Water began in 2005 with the musical introduction of Dan Moore and Lindsay Justice. The two bring a musical past, separate from each other, together to form a new vibe that is refreshing and uplifting.
Since his teenage years, Dan has been perfecting his craft of writing and producing music. Previously hooked up with a street team, Dan created a lot of hype in the local rap game. Finally realizing that God could use him in a way he never imagined, he decided to leave the street scene behind and use his talents to touch lives in a much deeper way.
Lindsay, always influenced by music, has simply been waiting on the right ingredient to mix with her talent. She found the right mix with Dan.
Growing up in a musical household, Lindsay has always been exposed to the power that music possesses. With a dream of making music, but without the right tools, Lindsay did what she had to do to be heard. “I used to sit and think of different hooks I could use to make songs. I would record them on to my cell phone so I wouldn’t forget the melody”. She finally decided to let Dan hear one of those recordings, because she envisioned that they could touch lives together. Within weeks the two were in the studio together writing and collaborating and created their first song “LiveStrong”.
From this, Soul Water was formed and a new style of music was born.
Soul Water formed to provide music that is uplifting with a sound that will make the ear want to listen; still making you bob your head, but getting a “true” message while listening.
