ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Guy and Donna started writing music together almost as soon as they were married. It was inevitable that they would start Shelley Music Publishers and begin married life playing in various bands together. Student demand soon brought about the writing of original works in the Blues, Jazz and Classical fields. Guy, being a natural arranger composer, began to lay down background tracks for original ideas. Inspired by hearing these tracks Donna then wrote all the melodies that became the actual tunes. Working together to perfect the music they recorded the parts in the family recording studio belonging to their eldest son, Robin. This has been a spare time project for everyone and as such has taken a long time to finish. Blues Cafe was the very first Blues/Jazz album to be published, followed by Songs Of The Heart (Piano originals by Donna Shelley). Mojito will be the latest album and the finest effort to date in the Blues/jazz idiom.
