After surviving Hurricane Katrina, the group being spread literally to several different states, and our infrastructure almost completely destroyed, Christ still allowed us to release this CD previously scheduled for September of 2005. We, Alivn Banks, Dale Blade, Chris Severin, and Brian Toval were truly humbled by the Hurricane Katrina experience and the lyrics in our songs have taken on a fresh meaning. We sing, dance, and groove about a true relationship between GOD and men.

Starting with a New Orleans funk version of the gospel standard, I Woke Up This Morning With My Mind Stayed On JESUS, Soundfaith in a no excuses manner delivers our brand of contemporary Christian Music. The CD centers around one theme and one theme only - the love of JESUS CHRIST and the strength the believer receives by keeping JESUS as the center of your life. Righteous Man and Bathsheba musically grooves while telling the story of a man who refuses to bend to the influences of the world, the flesh, and the devil. The Blood of Jesus and It’s not That Kind of Love soulfully reminds the believer and the non-believer what JESUS CHRIST’S love is all about. Quiet Place is a spirit-relaxing song smothered in lush voices that reminds the believer of the peace one receives when praying. He Died For You and Me and Call On Him groove songs that speak of the goodness of JESUS. Through the storm and the rain,, sickness and the pain hard times and tribulations you can depend that He will be there because He died for you and me. Forever reminds us that the only promise that is forever is GOD’S promise; JESUS CHRIST forever. The Word speaks of the finality of the Word of GOD - the rest, the peace, the strength, the wisdom and the life obtained by a true relationship with JESUS CHRIST.
