Meet the women of SOUNDING
Milagros Phillips, Vocals /Percussions
A Sound Therapist, visual and recording Artist and Seminar Facilitator who uses her voice and her love of art to create sounds and images that are healing and nurturing, she designed our CD cover and founded the band.
Robin Richmond, Flute
Has a performance career on the flute that spans over 30 years embracing musical styles that include classical, jazz, eastern, folk, Celtic, Latin and Native American. What sets Robin apart as a flutist is her versatility and her ability to play masterfully, sensitively and passionately in a wide variety of styles.
Toni Dahan, Percussions
Toni is a versatile percussionist and plays a variety of drums including: djembe, conga, bongos and dumbek. She is adept in a variety of styles from diverse parts of the world.
Margaret Christenbury, Guitar/Banjo/Percussios
Has played at playing a variety of instruments for over 30 years and is currently undergoing metamorphosis by exploring the banjo, bodhran and a variety of musical modes that inspire her. She is completely ecstatic about joining this amazing reverberation
Penny Gamble Williams, Vocals/Percussions
A visual and recording artist, jewelry maker, storyteller and cultural presenter who enjoys creating music and performing. Her Native American ties are with the Chappaquiddick Band of the Wanpanoag Nation in Massachusetts where she serves as the spiritual leader.
