Sound of Birds - Friday at Avalon 2007 This album was recorded and mixed in 12 hours at Avalon Audio in Chandler, Arizona (on a Friday), and showcases the raw emotion and songwriting of Sound of Birds with a lo-fi approach towards production. As lo-fi as setting up 7 microphones and playing can be. Friday at Avalon is eight beautiful songs about people in passing, places long gone, faith, hope and love. Sound of Birds is an experimental art-rock band based in Phoenix, Arizona consisting of: Michael Red (voice/guitar), Justin White (drums) and Doug Littlefield (lead guitar). This is the fifth Sound of Birds independent release on their label, 56th Street Records.
