The Sounds of Living Waters Bio

There is a sound coming out of Baltimore, MD that thunders and answers back to the call of worship. From the creature back to the Creator rises a sound, not just the sound of music, not just entertainment, but the sound of sincere worship. Spiritually rejuvenating, simplistic to say the least, this sound of worship can be described as The Sounds of Living Waters. Armed with skilled songsmiths, anointed psalmists and minstrels, the group’s desire is to return the song of the Lord to His church and pierce the hearts of those so close to touch, yet so hard to reach. The Sounds of Living Waters offers its listeners an opportunity to step out of the norm of traditional gospel music and experience authentic worship with each song off of their highly anticipated album debut “The Releasing of Many Waters.”

Lead passionately by Elder Shawn Everette Rogers, who has recently released his own music project, The Sounds of Living Waters has vowed to never journey far from worship. It has been a long process from one novice musician, no original music and a few singers to a full band, a new sound and a God breathed CD project. They know that they are headed for dimensions of worship and music that has been untapped in Gospel and Christian genres of music.
