BIO

Soundscape is a four piece progressive rock group built on the philosophy that in the music industry music is what matters most, and everything else is secondary. Spiritual to thunderous and always precise, their music captures a wide range of expression through soaring melodies and dynamic instrumentation. This high standard of professionalism in composition, musicianship and performance was established in June 1996 with the completion of their first album "Discovery" (Angel Thorne Music 1997).

The band became more of a side project than a main event for its members over the last ten years, but now a new CD is finished. Featuring Rob Thorne on vocals and keys (Sacred Oath), Todd Rose on guitar (Spectre), Lou Caldarola on drums (Toxik), and Scott Waite on bass (Sacred Oath), it is a sequel to the debut album that their dedicated fans have loved for more than 10 years.

Angel Thorne Music will release the brand new album “Grave New World” on June 23 2009. With 10 songs clocking in at 78 minutes, this CD promises to deliver a hefty dose of the same intense and musical progressive rock that Soundscape is recognized for.
