Sounds of Imani, a contemporary gospel artist, brings joy, healing, and inspiration to listeners of all ages. They minister with a powerful anointed sound that brings forth a true freedom in praising God. They enjoy using their God-given talent in music to tear down bondages and strongholds that the enemy uses to keep people bound. Imani is an African word meaning faith and this artist lives up to its name.

Sounds of Imani has ministered at the Anointed Faces Gospel Coffee House,4th Fridays,Michigan State Fair, Farmer Jack Motor City Praisefest at Hart Plaza, American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, Northwestern High School's Annual Soul Day, African-American Music Festival, Rib N'Soul Festival, ABLA Music Festival in Chicago, and many other venues throughout Metropolitan Detroit. They have also appeared on WDIV TV4 Detroit.

In the past, Gerald has performed background vocals for the Detroit Emeralds, Flaming Emeralds, Floaters, The Gospel Travelers and various ensembles. Carol has many years of musical experience and has served as a musician, worship leader, and choir directress - since the age of 14 - for a number of community choirs and churches, including the Voice of Wings in Flight Community Choir.

Sounds of Imani's latest release entitled "Revelation" is powerfully orchestrated and anointed for such a time as this. The most requested songs "Everybody, "Fly Away", Something Inside & the title cut "Revelation" will give you a spiritual uplift like you've never had before!
