Album Notes

Selling one’s music to the public is like applying for a job. You resume should not contain items that do not support your qualifications to get the job. To support my goal to spread my music worldwide, I do the following:
1 compose upbeat music with good melodies.
2 write lyrics about life events that listeners can or may identify as similar to their own life events.
3 Write lyrics using common words that still allow me to maintain the rhyming structure.
4 Recognize that all relationships do not satisfactorily reach their goals, so to cover all basis, I write about failures as well.
5 Keep the vocalist voice “up front” so he/she is not competing with the music.
6 Choosing the proper vocalist for the song helps a lot.
Part of my education included becoming a licensed psychiatrist which allowed me the privilege for 25 years to hear and help people with relationship trials, tribulations, success, failures, and “re-starts” as it related to new relationships.
As a result, my lyrics are derived from real life issues. I have tried to make my music “sound” different from other musical groups to add variety to customers’ musical libraries..check out my other albums: Genre: Jazz, Sub- genre: Big Band, Dance Band, Ballroom Dance. This album has Merengue, Rhumba, Fox Trot and Swing (Jitterbug) rhythm styles.

Vocalist on this CD are as follows: Kenny Williams on Yes You Are The One. Kenny has broad experience in many genres.
Deb Aceveda-Tamminga sings YES, and Looking. Deb is a very talented voice teacher, and is in high demand for her talented voice. Virgil Seals sings Seems To Me and Touch And Go with great articulation and intonation. Karen Kohler lives in NYC. She sings in English, French, and German. She has an unforgettable voice as she glides through When I'm With You. Donna Lipman is a voice teacher as well as a life teacher. She excells on slower styles, and is sought out for vocals locally. Donna sings When All Is Said And Done as well as Come Play With Me and Show And Tell. Libby Barnes is a great vocalist with savy for delivery as she sings Our Team. Judi Sawyer sings regularly with a church Choir and in smaller groups. Her voice is different and appealing as she renders Be My Key.
