Album Notes

Southerly and The Conversation bring us five unreleased tracks that are sure to please the indie rock kids. Both bands share the stage on this split released on Baltimore's Fall Records.

Southerly is the solo project of Madison, WI native Krist Krueger. Described by a fan as "The Elvis of indie rock" Krueger tours non-stop performing his eclectic style of indie-rock. This release includes 3 unreleased tracks and two live versions of songs off of his full length "Best Dressed and Expressionless" released in 2004 on Dead Letter Records.

The Conversation is the brainchild of Jared Putnam (Austin, TX). Beginning his musical career at the age of 15 Putnam formed the Conversation in 2002 and in 2003 the band became a the solo project of Putnam. This release included 5 unreleased tracks from the Conversation. In 2004 The Conversation released the latest full length "Blue" on Dead Letter Records. Putnam also tours non-stop and is probably playing in your town tonight or maybe tomorrow.
