South Of Sane came out of Charlotte, NC in 2003. It wasn't long before the band was invading state after state throughout the east coast playing the top venues to record setting crowds.

Through the last few years they have opened many shows for Mother's Finest and for other world famous acts RATT, LA GUNS, Black and Blue and David Alan Coe.

Rock and roll...out of control female lead vocalist and a live show dripping with sweat and energy. A SOS show is an event.

East OF Deranged brings that live energy to a plastic disc. Christie Hancock is an amazing fiery female vocalist that goes from sweet and melodic to a torrid frenzy at the drop of a down beat. Three Dog Night's 'ONE' (Harry Nilsson) and the seductive 'Dark Side'.. are highlights of a great lineup of tunes.

Veteran ROCK guitarist/ songwriter David Koons is on his game with even more fire than in his days with Midnight Rider. With Jimmy Page/ Slash type riffs; he brings guitar back to the forefront with no apologies.

Bassist Kazz Beppu and drummer Brian Little underscore the sometimes twisted melodies with a solid determined rhythm section.

In the spirit of Led Zeppelin, Guns and Roses, Heart and Garbage...South Of Sane pleases the ear ...the soul and the need to move.

This CD lives and breathes on it's own and represents all the things that define "rock music". No formulas, no rules. "We don't hate our parents" says singer Christie Hancock, "but we sure like to let them and anyone else that we're going to have a good time and we aren't going to take any sh** in the process. Their material has been played all over the world. The original songs "Steve" and "Psycho Girlfriend" have been favorites on major FM and college FM radio. They have also appeared on a world wide web broadcast in Japanese and English format. They were a featured act on the 2004 "Chicks On The Road" tour.
