Mighty Mighty is awesome blues rock originals with outstanding vocals and lyrics. You'll wonder where they've been!
South Side Cindy & The Slip-Tones come from central Illinois where they have been a great influence to make blues what it is today, pleasing audiences of both blues and rock lovers.
Blues radio across the nation has embraced all of The Slip-Tones CDs and each one makes it even higher on the charts.
This has in your face vocals and instruments in the vein of Janis Joplin and Gladys Knight. Then turns to some deep blues in the song "Milkman" as well as southern gospel in "I'll See You Again" written for Cindy's father. The heartfelt lyrics will leave you simply stunned.
In addition to the South Side Cindy leads & lyrics, in an effort to bring even more to the CD, the mighty mighty Slip-Tones also show their stuff with Wendy Gosset on lead for "Out of Memphis" a fun song from a traveling band. And this one was written by Jeff Smucker, fabulous drummer for The Slip-Tones.
E, the legendary still man and bass player of the Slip-Tones brings his surprise into both the writing and lead vocals of "Seven Days Gone."
For "Kiss & Tell" they used the song writing of Robin Crowe (also from Illinois) who is a major performer and song-writer, as well as a friend and an inspiration to South Side Cindy & The Slip-Tones.
If you even LIKE music, you'll LOVE something or everything from Mighty Mighty.
