Album Notes

For the three consecutive years, students of Soyka Studios have worked to create unique and challenging melodies that have been set to piano accompaniment. For this second year, most compositions are in Rondo form: a recurring main theme is sandwiched in between contrasting sections. I’m very proud of my students’ dedication and enthusiasm, and I hope this experience has been helpful in growing and shaping their musical knowledge and character.
