Rhythm of Worlds

by Sozra

"SOZRA" approaches the time and space of music much like an abstract painter approaches canvas. The music ranges from perky, 'up' tempo to warm, rich spaces of sound to 'snuggle into' ; from trance-inducing repetitive patterns to memorable melodies."

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"It will strike a rich cord for its artistic
qualities and complex patterns of notes. One the border between chaos and order, light and dark, the mind is freed to fly."

-HEARTSONG REVIEW
============

"Guitar and Piano Elements Collide with Synthesizer Generated Sounds." "Musically, labels like New Age, New Wave and Classical inadequately describe the flowing compositions."

-Maryland Musician Magazine
============

Rhythm of worlds has the fresh ambience of the creative mind at work. Of his work Sozra, (John Sosnowsky), says, "Gliding on life's rhythm, like a golden vision passing, enjoyed as both a treasure and a dream." Rhythm of Worlds explores spaces with halting, tinkling piano, and warps of sound. Sub Oceanic Voyage is subdued and rhythmic, with echoes of whales calling amidst skeins of kelp and shafts of light, and waves of the ocean's ebb and flow. Solar Battle picks up the pace with keyboard rhythms and lingering bass notes of synthesizer. This is not a melody, but a tone poem in sound, with the very intellectual and ethereal. Medieval Waltz is a lovely, haunting piano piece with just a touch of mood background from synthesizer.

"SOZRA" says he is a sound artist and that he approaches the time and space of music much like an abstract painter approaches canvas. The music ranges from perky, 'up' tempo to warm, rich spaces of sound to 'snuggle into' ; from trance-inducing repetitive patterns to memorable melodies."

===========
On this CD Sozra is more experimental with sound and composition and a bit more up tempo. His music uses sound, as color, to paint an audio picture.

*Great for Driving, Yoga, Running, Mood, a pleasant backdrop for introspective work.
