Album Notes

What started as piano meditations on an out of tune piano, became a full fledged project between Angeles (Lisa Salloux) & SP-33 (Ezra Funkhouser). In Early 2008 Angeles sat down in front of her broken piano keys and pressed record on her Edirol. What was captured was distorted beauty, ranging from subtle melodies to all out sound blitzes.

Angeles then handed SP-33 a copy of the record for Christmas. He to sat down in front of his (Comptuer) keys and started to craft eclectic interpretations of Angeles' compositions, by chopping the songs to millisecond clips and rearranging them to create atmospheric, warm, and inspiring glitchtronic.

The record was completed and mastered by Grammy Award Winning engineer Alfonso RĂ³denas (Los Tigres de Norte: Raices) specifically to highlight flaws and bring the humanistic feeling back to music (acting as a slap in the face to over produced sounds).

The final product was a perfectly flawed split E.P. between Angeles' piano meditations & SP-33's glitchy remixes.
