Spanky -- the pharmacist who still refills our prescription for the blues.

Too bad more people won't have this CD
author: Joe Foster
I love this CD.I've always been a Spanky fan and have all 5 Spanky and Our Gang albums. This CD makes the perfect companion to her catalogue. The live cuts with Little Brother Montgomery are fantastic,a rare opportunity to hear Spanky sing the blues with a small combo. She tears up "Bill Bailey" like nobody's business. Finally I have the ultra rare first S+OG single,a cover of The Beatles song "And Your Bird Can Sing."A very cool cover and a 45 I've seen listed on her discography but never seen or heard. The sound quality is great on this CD,the music is great and its too bad that only 100 people will own it.
