Album Notes

The debut from a new band of four music veterans, this alubm is a melange of rock and roll, country and western, reggae roots, and psychelelic pop. Featuring three singer/songwriters, the music is a blend of rythmic muscle, spicy hooks and nourishing lyrics simmered over a campfire then broiled in the studio. It has a rich vintage sound that stirs memories and lingers on the palate.

L.A. and Seattle session-ace Steve Leigh produced the tracks and lays a solid sonic foundation. His opener "Love So Deep" and epic "Won't Stop Loving You" echo classic songwriter stylings from the 1970's.

Louisiana-born Getty creates a steamy bayou on the Puget Sound where ghosts of old friends are conjured. His funky pop-rock "Point Blank" channels bands of southern brothers while "One Salty Tear" rains hints of early mother-love grunge.

Riding from his digital rockabilly ballad "Wish Me Luck" to disco-reggae spiritual "Uplink", David Baumert's songs look for the high ground from the low road.

Big Catholic Guilt alumnus Tim Osborne changes drum costumes frequently, reworking precision machinery into flexible feel. His contributions span bombastic thunder on Steve's "All About You" to a traveling shuffle on Getty's "West on I-10"
