Album Notes

The Spectacles have been around for centuries in one form or another. Some of the earliest stories tell of a group of strange minstrel druids (the Spektkals) that sang of woe and misery and recreational use of psychotropic fungus. Their songs spread across the globe inspiring the formation of different sects that have survived to this very day. Although no incarnation of the Spectacles has ever amounted to much of anything (with the slight exception of in 1954 when Charlie Sonata and the Spectacles performed "Let's Get the Band Back Together" on the soon to be cancelled Jack Carson show), they continue to entertain and annoy audiences wherever there is a call for yet another band to join an already crowded music scene. This particular unit of Spectacles consists of Josh Hamilton (drums), Travis Fields (bass, vocals), and Brent Crowe (guitar, vocals). They made a CD and everything.
