‘Now in 3D’ is the third spekki chris recording, created from a series of live sessions from 2010 in Mill Hill Studios – a portacabin in the shadow of the M1. Although the 11 songs here all retain the energy of the performances that form their core, the quality of the recording, mixing and post-production show how much it is now possible to achieve with minimal budget. The entire album was recorded, mixed and mastered for less than £2500, but it sounds like a lot more.
