Album Notes

In 1924, a festival started in the town of Santa Barbara,Calif. celebrating
its historical ties to the past, vision for the future, and because every town needs and deserves a really big party...This affair is called "Fiesta" (Or, "Old
Spanish Days", which is slightly ironic yet beautiful architecturally and the
city shines with and because of it)... Fiesta continues today featuring girls in
Spanish dresses dancing flamenco and makeshift marketplaces or "Mercados"
selling Tortas,Tacos and Margaritas.
This year, 2006, brought a new addition to the mix with the release of a new
Spencer The Gardener cd called,"Fiesta"...The unofficial spirit of fiesta, Spencer
the Gardener has been playing this festival for years and has put together a
collection of songs showcasing their Tropical Mariachi Tex-Cali-Mex Surf sound.
Mostly in Spanish, occasionally English, and sometimes Spanglish. This cd will
keep any party rolling and everybody's invited. So grab your friends, jump on your horse and ride on down to the Pacific Ocean...Todos Son Invitados
VIVA LA FIESTA
