The fabulous Sue Palmer is the "pumpin' pianist" on this disc, backed by the Hayriders:
- Nashville guitarist/bassist/vocalist Johnny G. D'Artenay (Cash Kings, Hot Rod Lincoln, Big Rig Deluxe)
- San Diego guitarist/vocalist Gino Meregillano (Gino and the Lone Gunmen, Guana Batz, Mo' Wasabi)
- Los Angeles bassist/vocalist Katie Cavera (Reynolds Bros. Rhythm Rascals, Vaud and the Villains)
- San Antonio drummer Hal Smith (Jim Cullum Jazz Band, Carl Sonny Leyland Trio a.o.).
The program includes several numbers associated with "The Killer" -- Jerry Lee Lewis -- as 2010 marks the 75th Anniversary of his birthday. The band also performs songs associated with Hank Williams, Sr., Little Richard and Honky Tonk Superstar Del Wood.
Sue Palmer's originals include "Domino Blues" (dedicated to Grammy-winning Austin pianist Floyd Domino), the Far Eastern "Sashimi Mimi," the country-influenced "Honky Tonk Sue" and a rockin' "TBA Boogie."
This is good-time party music, played by "Queen of Boogie Woogie" and a red-hot Rockabilly outfit!
